campus cafeteria by barkow leibinger

the TRUMPF GmbH + co. headquarters is located in the small german town of ditzingen. their new
auditorium is a standout feature of their campus and designed by barkow leibinger. the large space
also doubles as the company’s cafeteria and staff dinning area. the two level structure is partially
underground and covered in clean glass walls all around. the ceiling is what makes the building so
unique. the ceiling is designed with an irregular honeycomb pattern. some of the cells have sky
lights installed, giving a diffused glow.
