2008 ar emerging architecture awards
the architectural review has announced the winner of the 2008 ar awards for emerging architecture.
this year's jury was composed of sir peter cook (architect and critic, london), peter davey
(former editor of the architectural review), sou fujimoto (ar awards winner in 2006 and twice highly
commended, tokyo, japan), edouard francois (paris, france), sheila o'donnell (o'donnell & tuomey,
dublin, ireland) and paul finch (editor of the architectural review and chairman of the jury). the annual
international awards are given to the world's most promising young architects each year along with
15000 GBP in prize money. the winners will be published in the december issue of the architectural
review.
