located in wicklow, irleand, this home is a big step up from the derelict cottage which previously
inhabited the site. the minimal home has two stories perched on top of a hill. It was completed is 2006
by odos architects, a firm based in dublin. the main floor houses the garage and other utility rooms.
the main floor houses 3 bedrooms, the living dining area and a study. the front section of the second
floor is cantilevered over the driveway and is only supported by a series of small red poles that sit in
the garden. the other side of the house is firmly held by the hillside which a large white staircase
leading from one floor to the next.
