oriya jerusalem at the eden center complex by daniel libeskind

last week, we told you about the oriya tel aviv residential tower by daniel libeskind. as we pointed out,
the residential tower in tel aviv will be accompanied by another building in jerusalem. working with
the same developer, studio daniel libeskind is currently planning the oriya jerusalem at the eden center
complex. like is sister building in tel aviv, the jerusalem project takes its form from traditional israeli
architecture. this project is focused on connecting the neighbourhood to the historic sites nearby.
each component of the building has been placed to compliment the various gateways and vistas of the
city. it features a retail program on the ground floor and a series of courtyards which connect the
building to the historic city. while the two projects are clearly linked formally and in spirit, each has a
distinct design which reflects its location.

This "boot and mouth" design is the same silly shape Libeskind tried for the Sony Center in Toronto. He's a joke.

This is hideous.

Nothing is impossible! Seeing is believing.

I live in Jerusalem, but thankfully very far from where this monstrosity will be regurgitated — I mean built.
