german design studio modulorbeat creates a glowing temporary dance club installation in berlin.
the design concept was developed and produced by balestra berlin and the light technique was
developed by lightlife. kubik berlin is one of many kubik installations which use large water tanks
made from plastic and a metal structure. by adding lights to the tanks, they become a giant lanterns,
able to provide intense diffused light in almost any colour. the particular installation was created in
2006 and used green lighting to create a temporary outdoor dance club. the kubik installations have
been reproduced in a number of other cities around the world.
