located in santa cruz de tenerife, spain, this park is based on a geometry that has adapted to the existing
topography. the park sites on a large slope that has level differences as large as 30m. to create a coherent
whole, the architects created a series of paths configured to the geometry and divided the space into
3 zones. at the west end is a circular esplanade that connects to the entrance. in the east two paths rise to
the viewing platform, while the southeast features a winding path that weaves back and forth around
planting beds. the park also features a small skate park as well as a jungle gym area for children. the park
is dotted with seating designed by cutting large boulders into furniture forms. the chairs, chaises and
benches have been placed to take advantage of the views.
