bishamon house by suppose design office is located in the city of hiroshima. the building
serves both as shop and residence and is built on an elevated slope in order to provide an
unhindered view of the landscape.

they based their design of the house using a frame  that is usually use to construct a swing.
with  this kind of strong framework in place, a stable building is created while eliminating
the need for land clearing.

Simultaneously awe inspiring and terrifying. A beautiful space... made all the more so by how it is seemingly perched on the hillside.

contained within a discreet rectangular volume, a ground layer of sand transitions from the entry yard to the interior of the home, dissolving the distinction between the external and internal environments.
