london based architectural firm acme have sent us in images of their project
seoul museum of art.

the proposed mass is broken down into smaller building to create elements
that connects surrounding facilities in the park including; library, inhabitants' hall,
an octagonal pavillion, playground and exercise facilities.

the new building avoids a clear boundary between the existing park and district as
a centre of art, allowing the park to meander  through the building on the ground
floor level.

An art museum is the place where the spiritual cultural heritages in a country can be preserved and the identity and knowledge of the people are succeeded and evolved.

I'm agree with that.
Look at the 5th picture for example:
Korean people wouldn't use that green space as if they were europeans, they need something less 'public' in my personal opinion; (I've been leaving in Seoul for more than one year now...)

:)

hmm dont understand what andrew said. there are not so many public space like that in korea. that is why people cannot enjoy the so called "european culture?". it is not that it is not necessary to have that public space because you haven't seen people on the grass. this could be question about which is the first between egg and chicken.
