in the town of termini imerese, sicily is the former fiat factory which was known for
producing fiat's range of small cars. production of the cars will cease in the area due
to the high cost of logistics in italy.

converting the area from an automotive industry to a film industry, italian architect
massimilano fuksas has developed the med studios project which aims to encourage
more tourism to the area.

spread over 8000 square meters the corten steel clad building is configured in a large
prism where the studios will be housed.
