takeshi hosaka architects: hoto fudo - under construction

takeshi hosaka architects are currently completing construction on the hoto fudo which
is set for completion next month. located in fujikawaguchiko town in yamanashi prefecture, japan
the building will be for restaurant use. the design's bulbous and subtle undulating form are created
using a grid of steel rods which are bent and curved to shape. the one-story structure will be
reinforced with concrete resulting in a cave-like interior.
