nabito architects: theater complex, frosinone, italy

theatre complex by nabito architects

the theater complex designed by nabito architects located in frosinone, italy is meant to be
a multipurpose structure acting both as a culture centre and a public house. the space is
divided into three different sections, and includes converted ramps running into green spaces.

the first section contains the main entrance, houses and arranged on multiple levels - the library,
reading room, a space for music and a fully equipped shop and café. the second area works more
as a service area, where artists can access spaces for use. this works to create a relationship
between parties, uniting the entire property to the third part where the auditorium is situated,
entered through a large foyer. from inside and outside, the three bodies differ in function.
there is a back room which acts as a theatre, which opens and closes in order to multiply the space,
and the fly tower becomes a large vertical pin in which technical functions are organized.
