I think it is a tea shop. Wonderful idea, with the stream running through it. It is very Buckminster Fuller in its forward, imaginative thinking and, of course, shape.

Amazed at the jaded and envious comments that are so easy to make. I agree w/ janjamm.

People seem to think that they are clever or witty when they make disparaging comments. I do wonder what they've designed/built which has been featured on a site like this.

The use of materials isn't suited for the method of structural preparation. The timber used would need to be treated, and even then warping is likely to take effect. Good idea though, I feel the overall aesthetics and use of nature integrated with design will allow the shop to sit beautifully in the surroundings. Not like some of the concrete monstrosities in 1990's UK high streets.

SuperB ideA....would be great as a Cafe...or a some place where people can meet up and have a chat....
It's so eco friendly...
but hope they all stick together.... after it's completed

i really like the idea, especially the construction method.

and concerning the warping, would that not just be part of the appeal of the building, it is after all made of scrap wood anyway.

Would love to see it made! Delicious idea!
