japanese suppose design office have completed a renovation proposal for the hill
of water and sculpture in ichihara city, chiba, japan. the site is situated in an industrial
area along tokyo bay. the design utilizes existing structures converting them into
individual tower like sculptures of various heights.

composed of volumes reminiscent of the archetypal house, each 'dwelling' functions as a classroom or playroom, their arrangement being much like that of a small neighbourhood.

enclosed with a windowless facade, the exterior of this dwelling discreetly lifts from the ground to introduce natural light into the living spaces.

contained within a discreet rectangular volume, a ground layer of sand transitions from the entry yard to the interior of the home, dissolving the distinction between the external and internal environments.
