florentijn hofman is a dutch artist best known for his playful urban installations that see animals scaled up to larger-than-life proportions. his most famous projects include the monumental floating duck which traveled to numerous international cities, the huge 'hippopothames' which made its way down the river thames, and a 30 meter long concrete aardvark in arnhem that could be be climbed upon and interacted with.
