1930 enters the brera art school to study design,
1932 expelled from brera for insubordination,
1933 shows his first canvasses at the milan university
and for the first time takes part to the milan triennale,
1940 meets gio ponti who will later publish fornasetti's
oeuvres on magazines 'domus' and 'stile',
fornasetti starts collaboration with ponti.
1943 exile in switzerland,
1946 back in milan,
1950 paints the interiors of the sanremo casino,
1952 participates in the decoration of the andrea doria transatlantic,
1970 runs together with some friends the 'galleria dei bibliofili',
shows his production and that of other contemporary artists,
1979 gio ponti dies

1989 barnaba fornasetti, continues the workshop tradition,
maintaining the production of the most distinctive pieces
1991 victoria and albert museum dedicates to fornasetti an
important exhibition and the first monograph is published
1992 starts a new series of licence contracts with manufacturing
industries for new products
1998 christie's auctions dedicated to fornasetti
