BIOGRAPHY carlo mollino was born in turin, 6 may 1905; died in turin, 27 aug 1973. he was the son of the engineer eugenio mollino (1873–1953). mollino studied at the faculty of architecture in turin, and after receiving his degree in architecture in 1931 he went to work with his father. by 1937 'casa miller' his private photo studio was completed. mollino had an eclectic character, capable of unifying various forms of expression through richly brilliant artistic research. his career was highly diversified, covering architecture and town-planning, he designed a wide variety of furniture and interiors, fashion, theater and film sets. he loved writing, photography, skiing, stunt flying and car racing. read more
