the ctrl-x scissor by alessio romano take their name from the shortcut used universally to cancel or cut a selection. two archaic forms lend their shapes to create a no frills object which projects mystery and sophistication.  a cone serves as the base for the freestanding structure while the circular grips achieve balance with excellent ergonomics. by marrying the two shapes, the stand achieves a high degree of stability, making it well suited to a multitude of settings.

by juxtaposing the linear stand and grip with the circular inclosure a light balance is acheived
