to what length would you go to look at yourself in the mirror? beauty is hard work, a constant battle that comes with its share of obstacles to overcome. to explore the challenges of allure, and to comment on the growing narcissism of the world, industrial designer sebastiano tosi created ‘narciso’. it’s simple really, a nine-step ladder leads people out of the darkness and into their own shining faces via an inconveniently placed mirror at the top. but, of course, to look into one’s own eyes is worth the extra effort. for those unwilling to make the climb, ‘narciso’ doubles as a functional clothes hanger
