‘SU’ by israeli ceramist gur inbar, is a bathhouse at its most minimal. the project, which served as his graduate piece at bezalel academy of arts, is comprised of a square bench with basins, faucets, ladles, and a decorative wall-tile mosaic. selected elements draw directly from local traditions, both bathing and ceramics. all pieces used are easy to manufacture, use, and maintain — effectively making ‘SU’ a practical option for small communities.
