Unopiù Synthesis returns with otherworldly colors

Contemporary, even more iconic today than before, the Unopiù Synthesis is back. The collection of outdoor furniture originally debuted in 2006. At the time, it first successfully paired the solidity of teak wood and the hand-woven WaProlace® synthetic fiber – brand-new back then. Its essential design continues a dialogue with nature, still delivering high craftsmanship and materials but with new, vibrant textiles.

The revived Unopiù Synthesis collection follows the nostalgic Coco collection that debuted in 2023 yet distinctly references the style of the 1970s. This date is key for the Italian brand; since 1978, Unopiù has transformed outdoor spaces into not only an extension of the home but also as equal furnished areas that convey character, style and quality. Synthesis continues this message, modernizing a classic to fit today’s homes.

The collection maintains the original’s essential design that combines elegance and comfort. Its revival is most prominently achieved with new bouclé fabrics in white, indigo blue and ginger. These vibrant colors are reminiscent of the rocky, lunar landscape of Arizona, USA. The loose weave of these textures meets the pure lines of the teak structure. Highlighting careful craftsmanship, the choice of materials create an intriguing, tactile contrast.

Building on its refreshed colors, the collection consists of a wide choice of seats: a chair, armchair, low armchair, stackable lounge armchair, folding deckchair, sofa-lounger with seat adjusts on both sides, sofa, and several corner elements, shoulder, and chaise lounge modules. This is further complemented by two sunbeds, alcove, square table, rectangular extendable table, square table with two different heights, coffee tables in square and rectangular shapes, and a low stackable table with handles.
