jimma banana love art is a project that was started in april, 2000 with the hope of helping a group of young ethiopian women earn money to support their families. the project involves making greeting cards and several other products from the various parts of banana plants. these cards are approximately 10 cm wide (4 inches) by 15 cm tall (5.5 inches). this is a very typical card size and corresponds to an A6 piece of paper. they are shipped without envelopes to save on shipping cost though, if you wish, envelopes can be included. read more
