‘noten’ cultural center by we architecture all images courtesy we architecture

‘noten’ is a proposal by danish firm we architecture for a cultural center in notodden, norway. the city has decided to join several functions such as a cafe, a museum and a library all under one roof.

as a tribute to the history of the site, the roof of the building is laid out as an amphitheatre which spirals around the old shipping dock, which houses a floating stage.
