The Aurora Scandinavian Concours will once again arrive along Sweden’s postcard coastline from June 27th to 29th. It will be hosted at the Norrviken Gardens in Båstad, a small coastal resort town just over an hour north of Malmö. Against this idyllic backdrop of landscaped gardens, visitors will witness a stellar gathering of classic cars and hypercars.

After the success of its debut in 2024, the Aurora Concours has quickly become a must-attend event on the international concours calendar. Its spectacular showing earned the event a nomination for Breakthrough Event of the Year at the International Historic Motoring Awards, launching Aurora into the ranks of global automotive gatherings like Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California and Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como. What sets Aurora apart from its global counterparts, however, is its welcoming, genuine Scandinavian atmosphere.

In 2025, the Aurora Scandinavian Concours will present sixty of the world’s most stunning vehicles, from timeless classics to groundbreaking hypercars, many of which will be making their Scandinavian debut. These masterpieces will be complemented by the Tour d’Elegance, a scenic drive through the coastal landscapes of southern Sweden, giving these cars the chance to be appreciated in action as they wind along the beautiful roads of Sweden.

A Scenic Setting for a Stellar Lineup

Båstad’s scenic coastline, together with the remote tranquility of Norrviken Gardens, lends an immersive experience for concours guests. The estate itself is an attraction, with its historic architecture surrounded by apple trees and lush flower beds painting a pastoral backdrop for the vehicles on display. Aurora 2024 transformed this quiet resort town into a car-lover’s dream, bringing over 10,000 guests from around the world.

New Classes for 2025

In 2024, the event hosted themed exhibitions from BMW Classic, Chromecars, and Motikon, as well as panel discussions on automotive culture and design. The event culminated in a prestigious award ceremony, where prizes were given in categories such as Decade Awards, Hypercar Awards, and Classic Awards. A special highlight was the Northern Light Award, which recognized the contestant who traveled the longest distance to attend.

Looking ahead to 2025, Aurora has recently announced three concours classes that will highlight the diversity in innovation and automotive heritage on display: La Bella Macchina: The Art of Italian Coachbuilding (Up to 1995); Mega, Mega, Hyper, Hyper: The Most Extreme Mega- and Hypercars; and Get Dirty: The Most Thrilling Rally Cars from Four Decades (1970-2000).

Tickets for the Aurora Scandinavian Concours 2025 are now available, starting at 795 SEK (approximately $73 USD). Attendees will have a chance to secure their spot for this event well in advance of the summer season. Meanwhile, concours applications are open to owners of classic and hypercars, who are encouraged to submit their vehicles for consideration by a distinguished panel of judges.
