The impact on the environment can be reduced by:

Using trees that grow more quickly( and are easily accessible. )
Using appropriate manufacturing/production methods
Using assembling methods that minimize the material requirements.
Avoiding paints, resins and artificial pigments.
Minimizing the energy consumption by using applying appropriate tools and methods

The structure to be from pine wood
Rattan? is used to fill and stiffen/strengthen the structure
Entire coffin to be hand-glued without the use of chemicals, lacquers, plastics and metals
