during milan design week 2026, designboom invites its global community to take part in ROOM FOR DREAMS, a site-specific takeover at the ME Milan Il Duca hotel.
conceived as an immersive laboratory for creative hope, the project transforms the iconic Aldo Rossi-designed building into a multi-layered environment where installations, talks, screenings, and social encounters unfold across the hotel’s public spaces. through a curated selection of designers, cross-disciplinary creators, and international partners, ROOM FOR DREAMS explores dreaming as a tool for architectural and social transformation.
from large-scale installations to live programming and informal gatherings, designboom offers a dynamic platform to connect with creatives, brands, and thinkers shaping contemporary design culture. each moment is designed to foster exchange, inspire new perspectives, and engage visitors in a shared exploration of future possibilities.
