‘the union wallet’, is a slim minimalist wood wallet by australian based studio, madera. designed as an alternative to the ever worn and disposable leather wallets. it is a first product from a range of wood based accessories, that combines wood with current manufacturing techniques and materials. the union wallet uses injection molded elastomer, to create a secure storage structure for cards, cash, and miscellaneous of other essential items. built with a front facing RFID shielding, the features help protect sensitive pay-as-you-go cards from skimming.

with four plastic cards and some paper bills, the union wallet measures short of 13mm (0.51″) thick

embedded behind the wood face is an RFID blocking metal plate

holds your most frequently used card separately for easy access
