Martin Parr: We Are Martin Parr

We Are Martin Parr surveys five decades of the British photographer’s sharp, often comic observations of tourism, leisure, consumption, and everyday behavior. More than 500 photographs span his early black-and-white work and saturated color series including The Last Resort, Small World, and Common Sense, while 90 photobooks reveal an equally influential publishing practice. Together, the works trace how Parr turned ordinary social rituals into uneasy reflections of the image culture we now inhabit.
