Richard Tuttle brings two recent bodies of work to Dia Beacon, continuing his long exploration of the space between drawing, sculpture, painting, and language. In 18 × 24, acrylic-painted Styrofoam forms hang over the word drawings that generated them, shifting between abstract shapes and graphic notation. Nearby, the reclaimed materials of Good Idea spread across walls and floors, giving each lightweight construction a different relationship with the surrounding architecture.
