Framing the Horizon at BOLD 2026

At BOLD - Bologna Live Design 2026, Dimensione Serramenti presents an installation that makes the hidden processes of window production physically visible. Conceived by Francesco Carota, Margherita Iperique and Beatrice Armano, together with the team of Calibro Zero, the project transforms recycled matter into a landscape visitors can move through, tracing its evolution from waste to powder, profile, and architectural threshold. Rather than representing circularity through diagrams, the installation turns it into a spatial and sensory experience where recycled EPDM powder forms a soft, continuous topography punctuated by fragments, samples, aluminium and composite profiles, transparent surfaces, and lighting elements.
