Solid wood gives a functional bathroom detail a sculptural form

RTY Studio has developed a collection of solid wood flush plates for Geberit Sigma systems, combining precise geometry with the grain and color variations of American walnut, European oak, and padauk. Designed and crafted in Zagreb, Croatia, by sculptor Tomislav Martinčević, a member of the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU), the collection reinterprets a functional bathroom detail through material and form.

The three models feature clean geometric profiles, crisp upper corners, and rounded lower corners, with two flush buttons integrated into each wooden face. The natural grain and varying tones of the three wood species give each plate a distinct appearance.

CNC machining and hand finishing refine solid wood flush plates

Production combines CNC machining with hand sanding, edge refinement, and finishing to achieve precise dimensions and smooth transitions between surfaces. A protective finish provides water resistance while retaining the wood’s natural appearance and matte texture. Each plate combines a solid wood face with a magnetic mounting mechanism and stainless steel screws, concealing the installation hardware.

Alongside the standard collection, RTY Studio produces custom designs featuring geometric patterns, carved surfaces, and wood inlays. These variations extend the flush plate into a personalized design element that responds to the character of an interior.
