Founded in 1956, ADI – Association for Industrial Design promotes design culture and innovation in Italy and internationally. ADI organises the Compasso d’Oro Award, established in 1954 and recognised as one of the world's most prestigious design awards. In collaboration with the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), ADI presents the Compasso d’Oro International Design Award 2027, dedicated to “Design for Humanity at Play”. Held in connection with Expo 2027 Belgrade, the Award celebrates design's ability to foster participation, creativity, inclusion and shared experiences. Finalist projects will be exhibited at Expo 2027, while winning projects will enter the ADI Compasso d’Oro Historical Collection.
