ADAM MIKLOSI PROPOSES SCREENLESS AI COMPANION FOR NOTHING
Conceived by industrial designer Adam Miklosi, Glyph (1) is a speculative design concept that translates the design language of consumer tech brand Nothing into a physical, screenless AI companion. Instead of relying on a conventional smartphone display or complex sub-menus, the compact cubic device establishes an analog, rotational interface based on orientation: rotating the hardware so a specific facet faces upward automatically activates its programmed digital mode.

TRANSPARENT POLYCARBONATE SHELL FRAMES INTERNAL ELECTRONICS
The device’s architecture is structured around a six-sided, transparent molded polycarbonate enclosure with radiused edges, housing a textured inner chassis visible through the transparent shell. Each face integrates an independent programmable Glyph LED matrix capable of displaying customized graphic indicators, notifications, and telemetry. Users map individual faces to dedicated operations, such as smart-home controls, audio playback, task timers, or an ambient AI voice assistant. Presented in monochrome black and white editions, the conceptual hardware by designer Adam Miklosi relies on internal orientation sensors and matrix lighting to deliver tactile, distraction-free spatial interaction.
