microsoft has introduced their latest gaming console, the ‘xbox one’ all-in-one entertainment system. since the original launch of the xbox in 2005, the new system presents a completely redesigned shell, kinect sensor and xbox one controller. in addition, the set-up features engaging experiences that will be closely integrated into the dynamic user experience, including a personal interactive homescreen, cinematic gaming, live tv and skype.

the xbox controller has been refined with improved ergonomics for more comfortable gameplay
in addition to the entirely new console, microsoft has also re-developed the kinect system, accommodating improved accuracy from its high-resolution1080p camera with skype connectivity. the three-dimensional sensor can read heartbeats, and understand rotational user movements in both the hands and body. the xbox controller has also been refined with improved ergonomics for more comfortable gameplay, an integrated battery, and directional-pad with improved response triggers.

the multi-player community will be more tightly knitted than ever with the fully cloud-based xbox live, with a plethora of gaming titles to be announced over the next year. specifically, microsoft plans eight new franchises for the xbox one in the 12 months of its launch, providing users with exclusive access to un-lockable content and interactive features such as NFL’s live fantasy football function and original programming.
