experiment with threads and materials, british artist claire moynihan has created life-sized three dimensional bugs and insects using traditional embroidering techniques. serving as a celebration of ‘pests’, the collection produced with felt in high detail, showcasing a combination of realistic bees, snails and ladybugs onto wool ball pedestals. once completed, the tiny sculptures are then carefully organized inside handcrafted entomological box frames, displayed in appreciation of the natural world.
