french designer eric jourdan has developed the ‘dino collection’ – a range of tables, a desk and storage units – for furniture manufacturer ligne roset.

‘the dino collection is very architectural, I wanted to suspend blocks within the sides (curves here) and work on the level and colour differences. I had some marcel breuer structures in mind. I like the idea that the construction, the assembly of the volumes is present in the interpretation of the furniture which is in general closed boxes. with dino everything is visually prominent.’ – eric jourdan

the curving shells of the pieces are done in a veneered walnut, enveloping the rear and right-side of the collection. combined elements include strict parallelepiped storage units – drawers and cabinets – and table tops, executed in monochromatic tones or mixed with shades of grey and blue finished in satin, argile, elephant lacquer, or two-tone.
