the idea behind the project is a simple upholstered module that can be configured in a variety of ways, creating recognisable and useable shapes, perhaps inspiring users to move the modules around themselves. the bench is designed primarily for use in reception and breakout areas but the configurations possible with it make it suitable for a variety of spaces. soon a matching table and further modules will be added to the range.

The clean upholstered element is supported by a painted steel frame designed to mirror the pixel shape whilst maintaining visual lightness. One of the challenges of this project was to ensure the centre mounted frame was sturdy enough to take weight at the ends of the bench.
