spanish designer nacho soler and architect borja abellán of tada studio, designed this chaise-longe to a contest of furniture, the main idea is design the support like a the marilyn monroe’s skirt. this warped surface is made with straight lines like the marilyn’s dress, this form is better to adapt to the back of the person. when the chaise longe is close its form is so minimalist, but when it is open, we can check the curve to the back, this curve when the chaise longe is close we can see an arch of an ellipse in the drawing. marilyn’s chaise longe can be piled up to keep it with more facilite. this design is made with polyhetylene and stainlees steel.
