originally developed as a concept for red dot, the ‘eye of the storm’ watch by german design studio yesign has now realized the dial-less timepiece. instead of using minute and hour hands, the device utilizes LED technology to light up the outer ring of the hand watch to display the time of day. ‘it is not a watch for your daily routine, but something for parties at night, or special events,’ says yesign studio. the water-proof accessory features a black cored-out surface similar to the shape of a pebble with an internal housing for the battery and a rubber strap for durability.
