passionswege is a major focal point of vienna design week, which is in its fifth edition this year. the program invites young, emerging designers to work with selected vienna-based firms and manufacturers, exchanging design ideas and producing a tangible outcome, be it a product or installation. the participating designers of 2011 are: tomas alonso (SP/UK); philipp malouin (CA); tomas kral (SK); ulli budde (DE); lucidipevere (I); beza project (PL); patrycia domanska (PL/AT); hermann trebsche (AT); and konstantin schmölzer (AT).

vienna design week runs from september 30th to october 9th, 2011. the aim of  is to show and enable people to experience the many facets of creative work in the fields of product,

furniture and industrial design as well as experimental design.
