you are sure to be bombarded by this from every angle today but it would be remiss of designboom not to mention the newly announced range of ipods.

the shuffle is being updated in a new range of colours. the nano has become thinner, more nano (as predicted on many websites) and now supports video and apple’s coveted ‘cover flow’ navigation method. the traditional ipod has earned the title of ‘classic’ and is also thinner, has greater capacity (up to 160gb), a new user interface including ‘cover flow’ and is now entirely metal. the ‘classic’ makes way at the top of the tree for the new ‘ipod touch’, effictively an iphone with greater capacity, thinner and sans phone abilities.
