assembled using the ‘ARKit system’, designed especially by the australian firm, ‘the kensington residence’ was prefabricated offsite, in three completely finished sections. the sustainable construction method was environmentally engineered by GHD australia, allowing for a superior quality internal environment and polished external finish. incorporating the unique panelized system, the project combined durable cladding materials, efficient insulation and highly dependable structural integrity. further environmental considerations include passive performance supplemented through effective technology, as well as materials and construction techniques based on embodied carbon and life cycle analysis. furthermore, natural materials with low levels or no volatile organic compounds were included to ensure good quality air on the interior and the overall life of the building.
