american designer herald ureña has sent us images for his ‘arms up chair series’. the three distinct designs were engineered with the concept of seating mannerisms and arm placement typical to an individual while resting upon a piece of furniture.

the collection includes ‘model AUSC’ which is fashioned off the notion of sitting on a bench and the arm space this seat type offers the individual. the small seat is intended for one, where the width of the backrest seems to accommodate more than one person. the backrest also pivots on a joint allowing a movement of 20 degrees in either direction.
