capable of being constructed in any desired environment, the ‘spröjs series’ is a collection of modular houses conceived by swedish practice visiondivision. the flexible design accommodates a wide range of scales, including a shed, cabin, villa, mansion and castle. the 15 square meter structure may serve as a summerhouse in sweden without the need for a permit, as well as a sauna, water closet, guest house or work studio.

the 40 square meter cabin and loft is appropriately sized for a couple with two to three children. the main facade constructed from a long modular shelf and contains functions such as a closet, storage, tables and TV space while the upper floor may comfortably hold four beds. the length of the building may be truncated or extended based upon the individual clients needs. a linear and slim floor plan can be programmed for any desired length forming a small pavilion or 200 square meter villa. the gridded walls and roof allow for a visual connection with nature, introducing daylight and views of sunsets. vegetation grows through the open canopies or may be constructed around existing trees.

the mansion option offers inhbaitant’s a taste of the ‘good life’, incorporating a wine cellar with an underwater view of the front yard’s pool. a personal orangery supports the households ambitions to grow their own vegetables and fruits while a sauna adds a relaxing atmosphere. connections with the outdoors begin with personal private balconies with trampolines which extend from the bedrooms to jump into the pool along with a glass ceiling to the third level loft allowing guests to gaze at the stars. vertical circulation ranges from stairs and ladders for a diverse experience.
