following the acquisition of a property by the transit agency cinco m dos, architecture practice JSa has transformed two entire floors in mexico city to serve as the company’s offices. the design includes a diverse range of materials which differentiate the various building elements. often, major walls are wrapped in wood slat cladding, while many interior volumes are distinguished by bright colored surfaces. the spaces are unified by an open courtyard, which is utilized for collective activities. it features bleacher seating on one end, with a game area and large magnolia tree on the other.

the property contains many terraces, which were revamped for improved connection to the interior spaces. these outdoor balconies were converted into meeting areas and private offices, and incorporate glass partitions and white ceilings and walls to allow for increased passage of daylight to internal areas.
