japanese architect ryo yamada has presented his latest work titled ‘0.82m architecture’ where three 0.82 square meter structures are positioned as if they were placed around a small yard, with a small terrace and a chair. the idea was conceived from the definition of a tea ceremony, one of the most important traditional and cultural activities conducted in japan. each participant of the ceremony follows a ritual of preparing and drinking tea on half of a tatami mat area (0.82 meters squared), reflecting through a spiritual space of concentration and diffusion.
