‘reina victoria theatre’ by enrique abascal arquitectosspanish firm enrique abascal arquitectos, has developed the ‘reina victoria theatre’ in the northern province of huelva, spain. the makeover 

of the abandoned mining town has since promoted the construction of public buildings, carrying alongside a spatial and social transformation 
within the city. drawing from the area’s long tradition of communal cultural spaces, the incorporation of a building capable of contributing
entertainment accommodates the promotion of various activities within a multidisciplinary container.

the edifice is organized from a plan basically on two levels. the ground floor consists of the main entrances  alongside a hall and with support spaces for dressing rooms and a technical area (pit stage and orchestra pit).  the first floor contains the lobby, where the main hall, stage, and rehearsal room extension provides  access to the amphitheater.
