in response to growth by the russian internet and search engine company yandex, za bor architects has completed the extension and renovation of their office in saint petersburg, to include an entire new floor of the building. the interior interventions are stretched along the level’s long and singular corridor, and include meeting rooms of varying privacy, relaxation areas, coffee bars, dining, etc. the design is distinguished by an array of vibrantly colored and playfully composed elements, which reflect the business’s transition to more-3D graphical style, as well as their general desire for a unique identity. the project is the fourth phase in the office’s expansion, which now occupies 10,000 sqm across three stories.
