after a collaboration extending for more than a year, artifort and khodi feiz design studio unveil three products. ‘beso’ spanish for kiss, is an innovative product line that includes chair, arm chair, and barstool. behind the project, is a production approach that focuses on maximum economy without sacrificing design or comfort. lightness, flexibility, and comfort are the series driving characteristics, and they are upholstered similarly via a simple hidden zipper system. ‘beso’ is available in a wide range of fabrics and bases for interiors.

‘beso’ chairs
the ‘bras easy chair’ is the much-anticipated addition to the studios’ pre-existing ‘bras’ collection. the compact and informal arm chair was originally created to complement the ‘bras’ sofa. the seat features an angular armrest that hugs users in a comfortable embrace that follows the body’s natural curvature. ‘bras wood’ is a secondary inclusion that adds a distinct wooden base to the seat for an up-to-date, warm impression.

‘beso’ prototype development
‘balans’ is the third design of the collaboration; a line of small tables with a delicately balanced interplay of natural woods and painted surfaces. affordable and easily assembled, the tables come flat-packed and are assembled in a playful manner. ‘beso’ series, ‘bras easy chair’, and ‘balans’ tables will all be presented april 14th to 19th at milan design week 2015.
