for men’s SS’16 fashion week in milan AMO, OMA’s research branch, has once again envisioned the stage for prada‘s catwalk show. the industrial-like space translates the perception of continuity through the use of curved, straight, plastic sheets that are suspended from above. becoming a negative of the flooring while the plastic panels imitate a mold which defines the runway and the elliptical concrete benches. the abstract catwalk, plays with contrasting levels of views and blurred transparencies, evoking a sense of a never-ending and undefined backdrop for prada’s post-modern punk collection.
