the gurus at lamborghini have cut off another roof, and made their popular ‘huracan’ model a convertible. the open top version – ‘huracan LP 610-4 spyder’ unifies the power and performance of the coupé with the thrill of open air driving. its lightweight, electrohydraulic soft top gives a presence with maximum comfort for both the driver and passenger. the naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 engine produces 610 hp, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 324 km/h. the ‘spyder’ also includes cutting edge technical features including, cylinder on demand in combination with stop-start, and an electronically controlled all wheel drive set up for even better handling.

with the roof down, two movable fins rise out of the folded casing and define the design of the open car. these fins start at the seatbacks and continue the roof line to the rear, shaping the side view of the coupé. an integrated duct reduces turbulence in the headroom during driving. for even further comfort there are two removable lateral wind guards damping the lateral aerodynamic throbbing, thus ensuring acoustic comfort that allows a conversation even at high speeds.
